Initial commissioning:

Actually, it’s quite simple: open the lid – put in 12-14 EGO3 filter balls – close tightly – done.

Here is the detailed description:

  1. Take a reusable filter container out of the packaging. This consists of the filter container, the lid, and the sieve insert.
  2. Take the bag with the EGO3 filter balls out of the packaging. It contains about 300g of filter balls. This allows you to refill your filter about 10 times.
  3. Open the filter container by pulling it to the middle position.
  4. Make sure that the sieve insert sits straight inside the filter container. The filter must never be used without the sieve insert.
  5. Take out a maximum of 12-14 filter balls from the bag and fill the filter container with them. The balls must always have enough space. They must not be compressed under any circumstances, as this would cause a narrowing of the flow,
the balls to be crushed and then felted into a filter block. This severely restricts the filtering properties and can lead to clogging of the filter.
  6. Now close the lid until it clicks into place.
  7. Now put the filter back into the hot tub. Screw the thread all the way in. Do not overtighten the thread. MODEL TOPLOADER (Ego3 filter without thread): It is only pushed into the shaft until the lid rests on top of the shaft.

ContinuousOperation:

The EGO3 filter balls are washable and reusable, which greatly reduces filter costs!

  1. We recommend cleaning the filter balls approximately every 6-12 weeks. To do this, remove the filter container from the pool.
  2. Only open the lid after removal. This keeps all the dirt inside the container. Now open the filter container and take out the balls.
  3. Carefully wash them under running water. Squeeze the balls like a sponge until they regain their original color.
  4. Optional – Afterwards, place the balls in a container with clear water for about 20 minutes and add a teaspoon of chlorine granules. This serves to further disinfect the balls.
  5. Optional – After 20 minutes, empty the container and rinse the EGO3 filter balls again under clear water. Now the balls can be put back into the filter container.
  6. The filter balls have a lifespan of about 3-6 wash cycles. Completely misshapen or crumbled filter balls should not be reused and must be removed and replaced with new ones.

DO NOT OVERFILL WITH MORE THAN 12-14 FILTER BALLS PER REFILL! USE ONLY ORIGINAL EGO3 FILTER BALLS! ALTERNATIVES LEAD TO POOR FILTER RESULTS AND DAMAGE TO FILTER AND HOT TUB!

WARNING!!! The EGO3 filter balls must not be used for any purpose other than the one described here. Do not use filter balls with loose parts/threads. Do not use compressed filter balls. Clean filter balls only by hand. Never overfill the filter container! Never use without the filter container, filter lid, or sieve insert! There must always be 4-5 cm of water above the filter lids in the hot tub to prevent air from being drawn in. Use only EGO3 original filter material! Otherwise, damage to the pool and its components may occur. Not to be used by children! Loose parts can be swallowed. There is a risk of crushing when twisting the lid.
