Which filter balls are available?

Unscrew
- Remove the EGO3 hot tub filter from the hot tub and let the water drain from the filter.
Open
- Open the lid. NEVER twist and pull at the same time. Twist to the center first and then lift, otherwise the clips will break off.
Clean
- Remove the filter balls and rinse them individually under running water. Squeeze the filter balls like a sponge while rinsing. DONE

After washing, occasionally soak the filter balls in a chlorine solution (a bucket of water with a few grams of chlorine) for 100% disinfection.
Check shape stability. Completely deformed or crumbled balls must not be reused and must be replaced!
Do not forget the sieve insert! This is the grid in the filter. It always belongs in front of the filter balls in the container. Fill the filter container with 12-14 washed and/or new filter balls. Close the lid. Insert the filled EGO3 filter balls filter as usual into the filter area of your whirlpool.

You can also completely skip cleaning and just replace the filter balls. Due to the low price for 20 annual refills and the very long durability of one refill, and because the material is 100% recycled and recyclable, we have many customers who never clean filter balls. What’s the easiest way to wash filter balls? By hand or in the washing machine?

It is best to try both methods. Both ways of washing filter balls have advantages and disadvantages. In general, cleaning filter balls is very easy.

A) Washing filter balls by hand

Simply squeezing the filter balls by hand under running water has the great advantage of being very quick and straightforward. The cleaning result is also very good. Therefore, our official recommendation is to wash the filter balls by hand, as shown in our instructional video. The disadvantage is that you have to handle the dirty balls. However, rubber gloves are available for anyone who finds this unpleasant. There is nothing left in the filter balls except dirt, so there is no need to be afraid.

B) Washing filter balls in the washing machine

Alternatively, you can put the balls in a laundry bag and place it in the washing machine. However, you must not use detergent under any circumstances, as it could remain in the balls and then cause foaming in the pool. You must also not wash them at high temperatures, as this could alter the synthetic fabric. The effort is therefore relatively high for an uncertain result.

Funktioniert richtig gut

Ich habe hier mit meiner Bewertung etwas gewartet, um die Filter richtig prüfen zu können. Meine Erwartungen wurden bisher zu 100% erfüllt. Die „Laufzeit“ der Filterbällchen ist drei mal länger als mit den bisher benutzten, normalen Filtern. Das finde ich schon sehr erstaunlich. Die Reinigung der Filterbällchen ist einfach und schnell erledigt. Die benötigte Menge an Chemie hat sich halbiert. Es zeichnet sich also ab, daß die Filter sich sehr schnell bezahlt machen. Der angenehme Nebeneffekt ist, daß die unangenehme Reinigung der normalen Filter entfällt.
(Aggressive Chemie und unangenehme Gerüche gehören der Vergangenheit an). Auch die Wasserersparnis bei der Reinigung ist erheblich. Alles in allem war es ein sehr guter Kauf. Wenn ich diese Filter schon eher entdeckt hätte, hätte ich an meinem Whirlpool noch mehr Freude gehabt.

Optimaal genot van een schone jacuzzi

We hebben de EGO3 voor de MSpa Oslo Plus besteld.
Wat gelijk opviel is dat er minder op de vloer ligt van de Jacuzzi.
Er gaan 13 filter bollen in die voorzien zien van zilverdraad.
Filter hebben we nu een 3 tal weken in gebruik. Hoeft pas na 8 weken vervangen te worden van de filter bollen. Deze kun je wassen. Je krijgt er een zak bij waarmee je 3 jaar ongegeneerd me doet. Voelt degelijk aan en is groot van filter oppervlak. Een aanrader dus. Een woord SUPER!

Diese Filter sind einfach super. Das Wasser wird wirklich absolut glas-klar. Ich hatte zwischendurch auch Probleme mit trüben Wasser. Das lag aber an zu wenig Alka und damit einem falschen PH-Wert. Würde sie mir jederzeit wieder kaufen,
